movie maker project

Hello!
I created a project .mswmm by my pc windows vista and I saved it and the directory (naturally inside all files of the project and the project itself ), to open and work on it by a pc of a friend, but....it's impossible!
This advice appears "...it was created by a version of windows movie maker not "supportata" , even if the version is the same and it happens again if I try it on another pc with another version of windows movie maker (xp 2.1).
How can I work on this project ?
