movie maker glitch

I am running XP and have the current updates, my Windows movie maker
will open and then immediately display a "we are sorry but movie maker
has encountered a problem and needs to close" message. Any ideas as
to what is going on?

after installing IE7. If this applies to your
situation ...uninstalling IE7 may be worth
a try.
