Movie Maker 5.1

Is it possible to uninstall Movie Maker 5.1?
It doesn't show up in the Add/Remove list.
I need to uninstall it because it is conflicting with the software
provided with my digital camera Polaroid Ion 230 and neither will
Windows XP recognise the camera. (If I could solve these problems I
wouldn't, perhaps, have to uninstall Movie Maker )
Before I d/led Movie Maker I had no trouble making videos and putting
them on a web site.
I am very new to this so a very simply worded reply please.

Windows Movie Maker ios only up to Version 2. There is no
version 5.1. I think you might be thinking of another
program.

PapaJohn,
Thank you for your advice. I read on your site that I could restore an
earlier date and this I did.
I was sorry to see MM2 go but I hope to get it back somehow.
I think the trouble is with my camera which is an inexpensive model and
XP doesn't recognise it.
A form of snobbery, I fear. Seriously, tomorrow I may find something on
your site about camera recognition. It is past midnight now so I am too
tired to go searching.
