Using Quicktime Movies with Windows Movie Makers

I have a digital camera that takes videos in the Quicktime format. I have
attempted to transfer these videos to Windows Movie Maker to edit them but
the program does not recognize Quicktime. Is there a way to convert Quicktime
to the Windows Movie Maker to allow me to edit this format.
