Burnt a CD containing still photos, using Windows XP. (not MM2) The disc will playback on my PC, on my DVD player, both in U.K. and also on a DVD player in U.S.A
Burnt another CD containing the same photos, but used MM2 to add transitions and music. This second CD will playback on my PC and DVD player in U.K. but will NOT playback on the DVD player in U.S.A
Can anyone give a reason for this, or offer any suggestions please.......HenryH

Hi there,

Movie Maker 2 uses the HighMat and WMV formats. HighMat (Still Images) will
playback on some modern Home DVD players which may account for the CD not
working on some of the machines you tested it on.

I suspect the other burning software you used created a VCD or S-VCD. That form
will play on a much larger range of Home DVD players
