Movie Maker 2 not regognizing my analog video camera

Greetings;

I have been unable to record from my Sony CCD-TVR65 analog video camera. I a using an s-video cable. Movie Maker 2 detects a signal sometimes but still will not allow recording. Assistance Please......

To capture video from an analog source you need to use a capture device like the Belkin Hi-Speed USB 2.0 DVD Creator:

Connecting the camcorder directly to the S-video in on your video card will generally result in unreliable (or no) results.

Thanks for the input Jake.

I'm using an ATI Radaon X300 Series with 128 MB RAM. Have you encountered anyone with positive experience using this card to capture video. I will be a bit peeved if I have to purchase more hardware.....
