Movie Maker 2 freezes

Movie Maker freezes when I try to capture a video or if
I'm able to capture clips, it freezes when I try to record
the movie to my miniDV camera.

Hi there,

I had the same problem and this simple fix corrected it.

(1) Right-click the desktop
(2) Click Settings
(3) Click Advanced
(4) Click Troubleshoot
(5) Slide the acceleration pointer to the third index
from the left
