Movie Maker 2.1

I have a problem cos I have a laptop with Windows XP Media Centre Edition
2005, I think, and I want to use movie maker, but whenever I try to open it
up, there is an instant message that say that there is a problem and it must
close.

Is there anything I can do to fix this?

If so what changes have you made since then?
Does using system restore work?

Have you recently installed Internet Explorer 7? If so, remove it using the
add/remove programmes feature.
