Move OL 2002 to New Computer with Vista and Office 2007

..I am going to purchase a new computer with Vista and Office 2007. I will
need to transfere all my Outlook 2002 to Office 2007 Outlook. I'm not a
wizard on Outlook so could somebody please give some 'simple' tips on how
best to do this.

Are there any pitfalls? Should I wait until Vista and Office 2007 have been
through their teething problems.

Are there any patches that fix the very slow outlook in Office 2007 that
I've read about on this site?

Many thanks

For general advice see here
http://www.howto-outlook.com/howto/backupandrestore.htm

On your new PC I would set up OL first & test, and only then open your old
pst file(s) and if neccessary copy your data to the new OL Personal Folders
Files.
Why? because versions from 2003 use a diffferent format pst which is more
robust and doesnt have the size limitation your old one does.

Thanks DL.

Should I run both the computers in parallel and build up new e-mails comming
in and out going from the new one as well as the old one until I'm sure all
is OK and I undersatnd the 2007 OL? I guess I can get incoming mail to go to
both computers and I can reply from either one.

'parallel' I cannot answer that
Many people have no problems with Vista/OL2007 others do
