mouse won't work

I can't get my mouse to work and my keyboard's locked up
when i first boot up. Without these, my computer won't
even boot up all the way. Anybody have any suggestions?

Try pressing the del key on boot up , when you get the bios options load
optimal performance configuration , save and reboot , see if you can access
mouse etc. alternatively boot in safe mode by pressing F8 i think at boot up
and see if you have access to mouse etc , then reinstall drivers.
