Hi, not sure if any of you good folk can help me out but i've done
something quite stupid on my pc. I got a new mouse today, a V220
Logitech cordless optical mouse, works great on my laptop, however i
thought id try it on my desktop, bad idea. It kept coming up with
found new hardware and then the wizard cam up I just did auto install
of driver and it kept coming up again and again. Anyway I installed
the driver for the mouse off the web and still no joy, I then
unistalled this driver but found my old mouse now didnt work, another
old wireless radio freq mouse. Anyway I tried putting on a wired mouse
in the ps2 port and still no joy. I rebooted, nothing, I reinstalled
the old radio mouse driver, nothing. The keyboard works but not the
mouse. I tried a system restore, still my old mouse doesnt work. I
obviously buggered up my old mouse driver or put in some kind of
conflict when trying to use my new mouse. It does say the mouse is for
notebooks perhaps it isnt Desktop compatible, I dont know Im now
mouseless and destitute, any help will be gratefully received.
