mouse trouble

Help. I have a Microsoft comfort optical mouse 3000. Up until a couple days
ago everything was working fine. Now for some reason the right button does
not work. It will not respond at all.Does anybody have any suggestions or is
it just worn out?

Try to clean the Optical Ball, the Ball/mouse may be dirty.

Click Start > Settings > Control Panel > Mouse applet, check to see if any settings
gave changed.

The right-click button could have failed.. As a test, you can reverse
the buttons in the Control Panel, Mouse applet. But, if the button is
bad, you won't be able to click to change them back. You might be able
to tab to the Apply button, and press Enter or Spacebar to select..
