Mouse stuck in a right click sequence

Noticed this in world of warcraft, where the right button seems to
stay locked. This is where I first noticed it, but it happens in all
phases of using the computer. You can move and use the left or other
buttons fine. But if you right click, it starts a long session of
random right clicks, usually where you're trying to work or type.

I've seen the mouse move my character around randomly, try to interact
with things. Then in office, it brings out the right click drop down
menu. On its own erratic rhythm. Sometimes if you double click the
right button it will settle down. Only to restart again, when you
have to right click.

I've restarted, switched mice, and the problem persists. I was just
wondering if it was possible it was a key press combination causing
this lock up. Like some strange, universal macro sequence.

Do the settings for the right button look ok in the Mouse control panel?
