Mouse Single Click

Hi,
this is going to sound stupid but how do i change the
clicking options so that i can single click to open
folders and not double click. it is not under mouse
properties in control panel. the options there are
general, advanced, and drivers. Can anyone help?

It is under Mouse Properties ! The catch is that mouse software if different
.. For example my MS optical wheel mouse has the option that you are asking
for in their software. Jym

with the computers. ill re-install the software.

its funny i have a network running the same OS, same
mouse, same drivers and i have one set at single click and
one at double. can you walk through the steps to show me
how to change if it is not too much trouble?

My mouse software has a multiple chose drop down menu. I have no idea what
software is included with a Dell . Jym

Open Windows Explorer, select Folder Options from the Tools menu and click
on the General tab.You can change the click options there.
