I just had XP pro reinstalled on my pc,every thing is fine except the
mouse.
It refuses to start up, the only way to get it to work is to pull out
the USB and stick it back in and it works strait away.
Its a microsoft [wheel mouse optical USB and PS/2 compatible]
any ideas

Open Device Manager, open the properties on each USB port, click the
Power tab, and deselect "Allow the computer to turn off this device to
save power".
