Mouse problem

I am playing a game that I installed off a CD. When I move the mouse, it is
very slow moving. Can this be fixed?

Is the mouse wired or wireless. If wireless try changing the batteries.

Click on the Mouse icon to find the mouse settings

Start>Control Panel>Mouse>Pointer Options>Motion.
Ensure that "Enhance Pointer Precision" is ticked.
Adjust "Pointer Speed" to suit your needs.
