Mouse problem

I have deleted and reinstalled the mouse...the problem has been for the past
few days when you go to click something on it randomly takes a lot of clicks
to get it to work...it doenst happen every time but enough to be
annoying..and more than it should. Dont say to disconnect and try it
somewhere else. Any suggestions..

It could be that a micro-switch under the buttons is faulty.. try it on
another system, or get a new mouse..
