Gerard, an OS failure would certainly cause a mouse pointer to not show up
on screen. You have to be a
little more specific. Do you get XP to load (Desktop with Icons and
Taskbar but no mouse cursor? Does
anything happen, Dark Screen. Post back with more detail.
