Mouse over & program focus with SP2, IntelliMouse 5.2...

Hi!

Since installing SP2, program focus seems to be changing when I move the
mouse over the taskbar/system tray. When running Dark Age of Camelot (in
windowed mode) and I move the mouse over the taskbar to switch to Firefox,
for example, the taskbar seems to get 100% of the CPU time, DAoC loses focus
and I begin to lag out. This did not happen prior to SP2. Focus only
changed once I actually clicked on the taskbar.

I searched the KB, but only got information about IntelliMouse software
version 2.x. I have 5.2 installed, and there is NO option in the
preferences anywhere that has to do with program focus. I did reinstall 5.2
after I installed SP2, in hopes that might fix it. No luck. Thought there
might be something in the Accesibility options, but couldn't find anything
in there - everything is disabled.

I searched the registry, and couldn't find any entires that would obviously
have something to do with this.

Any ideas?

Hi,

Search the settings in Intellimouse explorer and there will be a setting
that asks u if you want that program to get the focus when the mouse is over
it. that might be the cause of your program. turn it off.
