Mouse not working

on boot today my mouse doesn't work ....

I see the following error in the properties for the logitic mouse

A driver for this device was not required and has been diabled (code 32)

And the trouble shooter doesn't really offer any help ....

Can anyone please help me - I have tried de-installing and restarting but the same error shows & no poor mouse...
 
New mouse = $5

Time saved from not having to troubleshoot driver issues = Priceless
 
This was the first thing I tried and i test both mice on my other PC and they work :-(
