Mouse/Keyboard not working

While playing an on-line game my mouse and keyboard
stopped working. Reboot had no effect. Both are PS2 on
an E-machines with Win XP. No errors shwon during boot
but not able to input anything into computer.

do you have the latest drivers installed. might have
installed an xp update/patch. i have keyboard that
worked great for 6 months and then started acting up.
new driver fixed it.
