mouse gets in the way of name tags

I am using Win XP Pro. Does anyone know of a way to read
the little boxes that describe the tool that you put your
mouse on and it tells you what it is. My mouse cursor is
set to large and it covers the box so you can't read it
very well. This happens mostly in PhotoShop on the
different tools.

Select a different mouse cursor. Control Panel, Mouse, Pointers.
