Yesterday, for no apparent reason, my mouse cursors
reverted to default. I went to the mouse cursor file to
reset the cursors I had selected, only to find the folder
is now empty except for one cursor. I ran all the virus
checkers (AdAware, Spy bot, Spyware Guard, Spy Sweeper)
and found no viruses or anything unusual. I did a systen
restore to 2 days ago. Folder is still empty. I have the
original XP Home disc but don't want to do a complete
reinstall. How can I extract just the mouse cursors from
the disc and reinstall them? I did explore the disc but
couldn't find them. I also noticed recently all the games
in the games folder are missing (solitaire, minesweeper,
pinball) Any ideas why these things would suddenly
vanish? Thanks for any help you can offer.
