Mouse Cursor Issues

Hi,

We just got 4 new notebooks and we're having a rather
strange issue with them.

In the course of moving the mouse cursor around on the
screen, the cursor disappears while hovering over buttons
or pull down boxes. For example, if you want to close a
program and you go up to hit the X button, the cursor
completely disappears while it's hovering on that button.
Clicking at that point will indeed close the program, so
its funtionality isn't compromised at all, just the visual
presentation.

Any ideas on where to look to fix this up?

It's running Windows 2000 SP3. And they are Dell Latitude
D800's.

Any help is appreciated!

Check the Mouse/Touchpad settings. Try re-installing the touchpad
drivers. Also turn off Tapping for the touchpad - that's annoying as heck.
