Mouse Cursor File

Have a Dell PC Dimension 4600 With Winxp Home edition.
Just re-formatted my HD & did a complete, clean re-install
of Winxp. I then slowly added (one per day) programs, such
as Earthlink, Adobe Reader, Omnipage Pro, and Ipod
software--the PC works fine..Just one problem: When I
tried to change my Mouse configuration, I found out that
the Mouse Cursor file is completely gone (Located at
C:\Windows\cursors).
Question: How can I locate this file in the Windows XP CD
to copy it back to the location I listed, or is there a
site where I can obtain this cursors file??
Thanks

Is the Cursor Folder gone? Or everything in the folder? Try a System
File Check
Start>Run type: sfc /scannow Have the WinXP CD in the cdrom
drive.

Thanks for the reply:
1) The cursor file is present but completely empty
2) I ran the Windows file-checker without any help
for this problem.
Again, does anyone know how to extract the cursor
file(s)from the WIN XP CD or where a site is sthat
I could download them from??
Thanks

Go to Start>Run type: msconfig On the lower right click on Expand
File. Follow the Directions.
