Mouse "auto click" ??

A friend has a CPQ laptop. It has a strange feature running on it.
When you merely drag the cursor TO a 'close' or 'minimize' icon on a
window, it ACTS as if you have clicked on the item..
And closes the window WITHOUT actually clicking on it.

I've searched all thru Windows help etc and online but can't find the info
as I don't know what to call it.

It doesn't seem to be referred to in ControlPanel/mouse anywhere.

Anyone know how to REMOVE this feature and get back to actually having to
CLICK to activate ?

I was thinking it might have something to do with Accessbility (under
control panel) but on my system I can't see anything that would cause this).

I have that capability on my system; turned it back off in a hurry!!!
At any rate, in my case it's in the mouse controls for my Logitech Optical
Mouse model 33xx; forget the exact model number. Anyway, are you sure it's
not in the mouse drivers control panel?
Try looking in Device Manager in Control Panel's System icon; maybe you
can identify something from the mouse or input devices there.

That's all I got; sorry it's likely not much help.
