(a) Wash it in hot water on "Heavily Soiled" setting
(b) Dry it in clothes drier for 90 minutes
(c) Apply a sustained frequency of about 2.45GHz for 10 minutes
(a domestic microwave oven is ideal for this purpose)
(d) Wrap it in a plastic bag and deposit at your local trash recycle centre
The motherboard will thus be revived to assume a new life in an alternative
changed state.
(You will then have a good excuse to buy a new motherboard.
And probably a new microwave oven, too)
