Hey, I have an old motherboard named A7A266, wich is the best now to have?
Nforce 1 or 2 based with a limited budget.

Well one bargain board that you should have good luck with is Biostar M7NCD,
if you can find it. MSI K7N2-V (MS-6729) looks pretty nice also, for a
decent price. -Dave

Abit NF7 is a great board at a decent price.

If you're on a real low budget you might consider swapping your
processor for a new Duron 1600 and run it at about 166-180 fsb, you'll
get about 80% of the performance of a NF7 with 3200+ for about $40.
Sorry if this dosen't answer your question exactly but it's what I did.

I guess you'd probably need to upgrade the memory to PC3200 to do this
unless you can run the memory and FSB at different speeds. Even then,
you should get better performance by having the FSB and memory sync'd.
