Go to the mobo manufacturer's website and see if they have the drivers
available for download. Assuming that's all you wanted were the drivers. If
there were utilities on the CD that you need, you can see if they'll send
you a new CD.
If they don't have the drivers on their site, you might find them at one of
the many driver websites online.
What you have done would be analogous to removing the engine in your car
because the radio didn't work. A simple reinstallation of Word or Office
would have sufficed. What CD are you referring to? The driver and utility
disk for the motherboard or the Windows XP installation CD? What action has
prompted your search for the disk?
