Most useful utility

Hi Guys,

Could you please help me with a bit of research I have to do for a uni
project

As network admin and support people if you could develop a a tool or
utility to make you job easier. What would it be? eg a patch install
utility, security scanner etc..

A Utility like the following but with a lot more options would help. A bit
of a cross between this utility and an inventory manager. Currently this
utility sends all information that it shows on desktop to a db as well. It
would be nice if you can have separate area for fields that can be send to
the DB. This way you can have more fields for DB and less for desktop. HTH
