After reading posts in these forums it appears that the best way to
display/store images in a database is by storing the path information in a
text field in a table and then using this as the control source in an Image
control.
As I need to display 70+ images in the detail section of a report (will
eventually be around 200+images) I tried this method but found that it takes
a long time for the images to load up and display in the report, I was quite
surprised at how long this took and I am pretty sure my boss will not want to
hang around for this length of time when he needs to use it.
Is this normal for Access to take so long to display images in the body of a
report, are the embedding / linking methods quicker, if not is there a better
database application for creating reports that contain images?
