more help needed on slow WIN XP Pro

thanks to Ross and Malke for their advise on my slow WIN XP pro. I am posting
anew as the previous message is buried deep down the list and my earlier
attempts to use the same message for clarifications went unanswered.

I tried to download Find-all.zip but on the pvtools page this is listed as
moved. On clicking the link it goes to the page wtih the following downloadHowever I want confirmation that this is the new version of the Find-all and
not a malware as well as the instructions to use this if genuine

If you downloaded the program from the site recommended to you, why would
you think that it is not the latest version or that it is malware?..

You might also consider using Outlook Express as you newsreader..
 
I think you have not heard of link hijackers. I was adviced to look for a
particular program at a particular webpage. When I try that I am redirected
to another page (of the same website) which has a different named download.
Hence my question.

can anybody really help?
