More About Internet Explorer 7

i was reading in the news about the windows Explorer, I visited the site and
found there is a download option also for the new windows explorer 7.

My query about the new version is that I have windows XP Service pack2
version installed in my computer, so how to remove the current internet
explorer 6 and install this new version 7. OR if I just run the new version
it will update to version 7.

Please advise me more on this new version and the method to remove and
install the new version.

Just install over the previous version, but remember that it is a beta and
has lots of bugs.

This installation is an upgrading kit for your existing IE. This means that
once you install it it disables and upgrades your current version of IE for
IE6 to IE7. The good thing is this installtion can be undone. Which means
that you can uninstall IE7 and get back to IE6 at anytime. Take it from me
and try it, it's worth it with new options. And yes! It has some bugs but for
me, it's not very annoying.

Three points:

1. You're mixing up Windows Explorer and Internet Explorer. It's Internet
Explorer you're thinking of.

2. Internet Explorer 7 has *not* been released yet. It exists only in a beta
version. As always, if you install beta software, you expose yourself to
substantial dangers of data loss. The reason it's beta and not released is
that there are still bugs in it.

3. If you want to do it anyway, just install it. It will replace IE6.
