MOOL and email dates

Hello,

I am a new MOOL user with two PC's. On PC#1, I moved all of my old email to
my new MOOL data file, and MOOL obediently uploaded the email to the MSN
server.

When the mail was uploaded, all of the dates on the old email became the
date that the mail was uploaded; hence, when I downloaded the email onto
PC#2, the dates became the date of the uploaded data, not the original date.

Does anyone know if I can copy the Outlook data file from PC#1 to PC#2 so
that the dates will be preserved. Or, will this mess up the conduit sync?

Thanks for the advice.

you can copy the pst - I'm not sure if it will mess up the sync though -
specifically, I expect you'll end up with duplicates, but I don't know for
sure.

Did it use the time the message uploaded or the time you moved it to the
folder? Were all messages affected or just old ones or only recent ones?

I am not sure if the time was the "uploaded" or "time moved to the folder";
the two times were very close together.

Of course, ongoing messages will be correctly time-stamped; but the old ones
are all the same time.

How have other people worked around this?

thx,

This is the first report I recall seeing and it's not a scenario I tested
for (but I'll look into it when I get some free time). I kept my old mail in
the pst and just had new mail delivered into the connector's data store.
