Monitors

I am not sure that I am in the right newsgroup but maybe someone can please
answer my question. I am operating XP on a computer using a GE Force
2MX/MX400 video card and using a 1280 x 1024 monitor. I am considering
buying a new monitor with 1680 x 1050 resolution. Will the GE Force card
operate at 1680 x 1050?

In other words - it may work with the proper driver for both the Video Card
and the Monitor.

More than likely , yes...
but you can check now by looking at your video properties
and going to the advanced tab...then "list all settings"
and hopefully you will see it there

I don't know the answer, but it's very easy to find out. Right-click
on the desktop and choose "Properties." Go to the "Settings" tab.
Under "Screen resolution," move the slider to the right, and you will
see what resolutions your card supports.
