My monitor shuts down every time I turn on my computer from a cold start or
standby wake up. No exceptions! Sometime it even shuts down 2 times.
Can/does anyone have a fix for this problem? After the monitor is on, all is
fine.

Have you tried a different monitor or on a different PC? Your monitor
"could" be starting to fail / die.
