password prompted when monitor wakes

Hi. I have 2 XP IBM machines I just recently installed SP2 on. Everything
is working fine and dandy except that I'm always prompted for my password
after I wake the monitor.

I have a screensaver, but it is NOT set to password protect.
I have NOT set them to turn off hard disks, go into standby, or hibernate
(hibernate is not enabled either).
Prompt for password when resuming from standby is also not checked.

The monitor is set to turn off after 10 minutes. When it does and I go to
wake it, it says the machine is locked and prompts for my password. Any
ideas why it is doing this? Toggling "go into standby" and "prompt for
password when resuming from standby", or changing the minutes before the
monitor turns off has not worked either. The only solution so far is to set
the monitor to NEVER turn off.

Hey,

That was so nice of you in trying out all possible steps for this issue upto
the extent of "Toggling"......
Do have a try in "changing the Screen Saver" ..
It should definitely fix the issue.
