Monitor Sleep Mode

Windows XP put the monitor in sleep mode and will not
allow the monitor to start back up. It has a black
screen. How do I get the monitor back on so I can disable
the sleep mode function?
 
Right click on your desktop> properties> Screen Saver tab>
Monitor Power
