Moniter problem?

I was told by a reputable computer outlet that the dulness and brightness of
my screen was the tube in the monitor about to die so i bought a new flat
screen only to find the same problem occurring.
Can anyone advise me as to were i might find the problem.

This could indicate a problem with your graphics card-either in the hardware
or the driver. Get hold of the latest drivers and also latest bios for your
graphics card. If you have an old graphics card try putting it in your
machine and see what happens.
