Modifying existing calendar appointment causes weekly recurrance

Outlook 2007 with Business Contact Manager (3.00.7311.00)
When I modify an existing non-recurring calendar apointment (e.g. change the
"Location"), the appointment changes from non-recurring to a recurring
(weekly) appointment automatically. I do not want appointment changed from
non-recurring to recurring.

Is this a new Dell computer? If yes, then uninstall the Outlookaddinsetup
from Control Panel->add/remove programs.

Yes, this is a relatively new Dell computer and removal of the
"Outlookaddinsetup" was the solution to the problem. Thanks, again.
