Modify section in Developer Tab

Hi,

I'm trying to learn how to do a basic macro and the tutorial I am doing show
in the developer tab there is supposed to be a modify section next to the XML
section in the modify tab and I don't see it. I was wondering how do I get it
to show?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

There wasa developer tab. I was using it until 2 weeks ago when I discovered
it wasn't there and neither was the setting to enable it. All my textbooks
refer to it. I haven't found an answer to this yet, but I'm looking.
