Modem Problem

After a new modem was installed on my computer, I upgraded
from XP Home to XP Professional and now I can't connect to
the internet where as I could before with this new modem
(Best Data Data Fax Modem). I get an error message
saying "can't start dailing, 0" Do you have an suggestions?
