Modem not working

After upgrading from Windows 98SE my modem does not work.
When I try to re-install the drivers from the hard drive,
WindowsXP cannot find them. Can anyone tell me what the
problem is?

The W98 SE drivers may not be compatible with XP. The best route would be to
contact the manufacturer's site and check
for their latest drivers.

If no joy via the manufacturer, then try http://www.driverguide.com
which has both drivers and links to many manufacturers. Their
universal login is "drivers", password "all" (no quotes).
