Modem Driver Missing

I've had a windows xp machine with a modem for a long
time with no phone line and i have recently hooked it up
to one, and after a few minutes i got a virus, and after
deleting it i also couldnt boot to windows anymore, so i
went to safe mode and reinstalled the video drivers which
worked, then i discovered that my modem had no drivers
anymore and that windows couldnt find a driver on windows
xp itself or windows xp the disc HELP this starting to
get annoying as i would like to make sure the other
comptuer works because i live with other people and the
only computer with a internet connection is also very
horded by certain people thus making it very difficult to
get access to the internet.

Try visiting your modem manufacturers web site and

download an up to date driver from there.
