Modem detected as PCI Serial Port

Fresh Harddrive and install of Win 2000 Pro. Abit
motherboard KT7A. USR hardware modem. Windows doesn't
detect my modem. It list it in other devices as a PCI
Serial Port and can't find a driver. Got latest drivers
from USR, but they won't work on the Serial Port device.
Any help would be welcomed. Jim P
