Modem Connection

When previously using Win 95,98 and ME when closing
applications using modem message displayed asking if you
want to disconnect, now after upgrading to WinXP this
message does not appear and modem can be left on, can
system be configured to display disconnect message.

Hi Steve,

Control Pnael/Internet Options/Connections tab, click on your connection,
then on settings. Click advanced on the general tab. Enable the line to
'disconnect when a connection may no longer be needed'.
