Modem automatically disconnect after a period of time...

Hi there,

Can somebody tell me why my modem automatically disconnects
after a period of time under Windows XP? - And this happens
while I am actively using the internet.
Few of my friends had the same problems before with
different modems. We installed the latest drivers, but
still have the same problems.

If somebody has experience something before, please help.

Check the fine print from your ISP. Also for dialup
there are settings in >internet options>connections>advanced
