hi ,i hope someone can help,
i want to connect a mobile phone to my computer to download photos and
videos.
the phone is a siemens phone CL 75, im on windows xp.ive bought a usb 540
dca cable a disc came with it to set up the system.it didnt work.ive been to
siemens web sight and downloaded the files, but i would end up with some of
the files missing.they suggested that i should download it to another
computer, which ive done, and its now on a disc.ive used the dic and the files
will not register on the computer,i get the 4 icons, the launch bar appears
with the message saying phone is not connected but of course the phone is
connected to a usb socket.when i do connect phone,( the computer makes a
noise the same way when i connect mp3 player) and click on to "my
computer"there is no sign of the phone.
am i doing something wrong ? what can i do to make sure the file
register onto the system.
i would be very grateful for any advice
regards

It's not really an operating system question. You should ask the program
publishers for help.

To go a stage further I have a Siemens SF65 with similar software cable.
That has never worked either. Back to Nokia for future phones.
