MMC Snap on

I try to use mmc and add the ads tool it not there, from w2000 w/s, where
can i intall this tool beside the tool from cd itself thanks

If you mean Active Directory Users and Computers (or other related tools),
this is part of adminpak.msi.

You should be able to find adminpak.msi in the %systemroot%\system32 folder
on any Windows 2000 server - just double click on it.

Or install it from a Windows 2000 Server CD.

Thank Bruce, it actualy need to intall adminpak.msi from cd. thanks but I
could not add the system monitor control, do any body know where it is, or
this is the download adding in MMC. thanks

By "System monitor control", do you mean the one that is included in
Administrative Tools, Performance?

You can add this by:
1. Start, Run
2. key mmc /a
3. click OK
4. click File, Add/Remove Snap-ins...
5. click Add
6. select the entry "ActiveX Control"; cick Add
7. click Next
8. in Control category: select "All Categories"
9. under Control type: scroll down and select "System Monitor Control";
click Next; click Finish
10. click Close; click OK

Looks like this is "sysmon.ocx" which should be in the system32 folder and
already "registered" as a COM object.
