MMC and disk management

Sometime after running a Windows update on my XP machine
logical disk manager in the MMC no longer functions.

This only occurs when I connect to remote computers. I
get this message from logical disk manager "not enough
storage space to perform this operation"

This works from Win2k computers on the network. I have
not been able to find any info in this. I do not know
which update was run to cause this.

Any help would be appreciated.

Did u try to update your network driver to the latest
available?

Do u rune xp sp1?
 
I have the latest driver and SP1 with all the updates,
but you prompted a thought. I turned off the internet
connection firewall and guess what? I was able to
connect!
